Hi! My name is Maddox Lechner. I'm originally from Victoria, British Columbia but currently live in Orange, California. I'm a third year business student at Chapman University focusing on Marketing and Entrepreneurship. I'm super passionate about sports and creating a lasting impact on the people around me. I'm all about pushing boundaries in research, business development, real estate, and marketing, constantly boosting my leadership, communication, and analysis game.
Education
Driven and motivated Junior studying Business Administration at Chapman University with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. I also have a minor in Leadership Studies. I'm expected to graduate in spring 2025 with a B.S. in business administration. At Chapman, I've had many classes, such as Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, Management of Organizations and Operations Systems, Financial Management, and Walk Down Wall Street, which have contributed to my business and analytical knowledge. I've also taken classes such as Sports Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, and Developing Effective Teams, contributing to my leadership, communication, and team work skills.

SGP® has 20 years of success in international and domestic business, sport and philanthropy. Sporting ID11™ is the first community/supporter owned Sporting Club in North America. As a Business Soccer Development Executive, I am responsible for networking through LinkedIn and Hubspot successfully acquiring over 100 leads for the company, contributing to a 20% growth in our database. I also lead a team of students conducting thorough research analysis on potential soccer clubs and leagues for an ownership expansion project. Furthermore, I develop a 30/60/90-day play plan for the Sales and Marketing team, focusing on setting attainable SMART goals to enhance team performance.

SureSwift Capital is an Exceptional Operator of B2B SaaS businesses. The venture capitalist firm acquires, manages and takes products to the next stage of growth. As a Mergers and Acquisitions and Operations Intern, I used a financial scorecard system to assess acquisitions, critically boosting deal flow by 25%. I effectively communicated with external BSB SaaS companies to get precise financial data. I also worked closely with contractors, evaluated their quotes, and played a crucial role in facilitating office relocation and organizing corporate travel bookings.
Footbolé
Footbolé is home of the viral football GOAT content and past football NFT project. They have over 2.3 Million followers on Facebook and 1 Billion total views. I worked closely with the CEO to research and analyze the rapidly growing soccer NFT industry. I performed an in-depth analysis of crypto-minting platforms used in the launch of cryptoliga.io, a soccer-focused NFT project. My time-management skills were vital to completing tasks with conflicting deadlines and communicating effectively as part of a remote global team. I also helped make this cool video. Leadership and Involvement
I am involved in many organizations on campus at Chapman University, such as Alpha Kappa Psi- Professional Business Fraternity, Treasurer of the Ping Pong Club, Entrepreneurship Club, Panther Rec, and Snow Club. As Treasurer of the Ping Pong Club, I manage a $2,000 budget for the club to ensure efficient allocation of funds while using a financial tracking system I created in Excel. In Alpha Kappa Psi, I've executed over five professional development events and coordinated guest speakers ensuring smooth execution to establish a valuable network of professionals in our community. I am always striving to be the best version of myself and am on the lookout for new opportunities to enhance my leadership skills.
